Getting Healthier With Exercise Fitness Training

Everyone knows that you need to have a healthy diet in order to be a healthy person. Many also know that exercise plays a vital role in health and wellness, but there are a lot of people who just cannot get motivated to begin exercise fitness training. In order to live a healthy life, exercise fitness training needs to be part of your daily life. You will need to work hard at it, but you will be able to see the results quickly and then you will know how much exercise benefits your body.

How To Get Started

If you are one of those people that say to themselves that you will start your exercise fitness training tomorrow, and then never do, you are in trouble. Not exercising will only hurt your body. You need at least twenty minutes of exercise a day in order to keep healthy. Why not create a whole exercise fitness training routine in order to keep your body healthy? The main thing you need to think about is where you will fit the exercise fitness training into your daily life. It may not be possible to exercise everyday, but if you can fit in at least five exercise fitness training sessions a week, you will be well on your way to a healthy body.

Getting started can be easy, but it’s sticking with it that will really put you through a trial. In order to make exercise fitness training part of your life get your whole family involved. Plan physical activities that you can do with your spouse and your children. This way, you will be able to spend time with your family while exercising. You will also be instilling a good exercise habit in your children, who will grow up to incorporate exercise in their daily lives as adults.

To complete your exercise fitness training and make it make a difference in your life, you will also need to think about the foods that you eat. You cannot keep eating junk food and still see results. Healthy eating goes hand in hand with exercise. Exercise fitness training will have more of an impact on those who are willing to change their eating habits too. Eating healthier will only benefit your exercise routine and can make you and your family healthier and less susceptible to disease and injury. If you do not want to do it for yourself, do it for your family.

Enjoy an efficient full-body workout without heading to the gym with the Sole E95 elliptical trainer (2009 Model). Boasting a heavy 30-pound flywheel, a high gear ratio not found on most comparable models, and a pair of upper body handles, the Sole E95 elliptical trainer (2009 Model) delivers an extremely smooth workout with plenty of top-end resistance. Users will also appreciate the unique oversize and adjustable foot pedals, which were designed in collaboration with a leading physical therapist and sports enthusiast. The pedals are not only extra large, but also feature a 2-degree inward slope that reduces the ankle and knee stress that’s common in other elliptical machines. The collaboration also produced a revolutionary foot pedal angle adjustment not found on any other elliptical. Taking into account that not everyone walks the same way, Sole engineers made the E95’s pedals adjustable to fit the way you walk. This also reduces the likelihood of numb toes and sore Achilles tendons.

Workout specifics include 20 resistance levels, 10 total programs (including two custom and two heart-rate programs), and a 20-inch stride length. Perhaps the handiest feature from a user perspective, however, is the easy-to-use electronic console, which integrates a red/green display, a cooling fan, and a water bottle holder. Additional features include stationary handlebars with built-in pulse sensors for monitoring your heart rate; a heart rate chest strap for hands-free pulse monitoring; heavy-duty rails with smooth-riding wheels on the back; and a rear plastic shroud that adds additional stability for aggressive use. The Sole E95 elliptical trainer (2009 Model), which offers a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds, carries the following warranties: lifetime on the frame, five years on all parts and electronics, and two years on the labor.

Product Features:

- Features a 30-pound flywheel and dual-action functionality for an upper and lower body workout
- Grip pulse monitoring and heart rate chest strap; oversize and adjustable foot pedals
- Twenty resistance levels and ten programs for a challenging workout
- Offers a 20-inch stride length, LED display monitor, cooling fan, and water bottle holder
- 400-pound maximum weight capacity; measures 82 by 33 by 68 inches (L x W x H) when assembled.

Here are some handy definitions for nerds like me:

Sucrose: a pure crystalline disaccharide extracted from sugar cane or sugar beets and consisting of glucose and fructose joined together in the molecule.

Fructose: a crystalline monosaccharide found in sweet fruits and in honey; fruit sugar.

Dextrose: a right-handed form of glucose found in plants and animals and in the human blood, and made by the hydrolysis of starch with acids or enzymes.

Nutrition: nutritious, nourishing; a nutritious ingredient or substance in food.

Nourish: to feed or sustain (any plant or animal) with substances necessary to life and growth; to foster, develop, promote.

Essential: of or constituting the intrinsic, fundamental nature of something. Basic, inherent; aboslute, complete, perfect.

Natural: of or arising from nature; in accordance with what is found or expected in nature; produced or existing in nature; not artificial or manufactured.

Corn Syrup: a syrup made from cornstarch; it is a mixture of dextrose, maltose and dextrins.

Honey: a thick, sweet, syrupy substance that bees make as food from the nectar of flowers and store in honeycombs.

-Webster’s New World: College Dictionary, 2002

Bonus items directly from the FDA website:

“What is meant by sugars on the Nutrition Facts label?

Answer: To calculate sugars for the Nutrition Facts label, determine the weight in grams of all free monosaccharides and disaccharides in the sample of food. The other nutrients declared on the nutrition label are defined in 21 CFR 101.9(c). 21 CFR 101.9(c)(6)(ii)

What are the requirements to use the word ‘Healthy’?

Answer: You may use the term “healthy” or related terms as an implied nutrient content claim on the label or in labeling of a food that is useful in creating a diet that is consistent with dietary recommendations if the food meets the conditions for total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, and other nutrients

What is the difference between natural and artificial ingredients?

Answer: Natural ingredients are derived from natural sources (e.g., soybeans and corn provide lecithin to maintain product consistency; beets provide beet powder used as food coloring). Other ingredients are not found in nature and therefore must be synthetically produced as artificial ingredients. Also, some ingredients found in nature can be manufactured artificially and produced more economically, with greater purity and more consistent quality, than their natural counterparts. For example, vitamin C or ascorbic acid may be derived from an orange or produced in a laboratory.”

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in men.

Prostate cancer is a disease in which the cells of the prostate become abnormal. They start to grow uncontrollably, forming tumors. A tumor is a mass or lump of tissue made of abnormal cells. Tumors may be malignant or benign. A malignant tumor can spread to other parts of the body. Malignant tumors are cancerous. Benign tumors cannot spread to other parts of the body.

Prostate cancer falls into the category of a “silent killerform of cancer, as this form of the disease rarely shows itself till it has spread out with the area of the gland. Once it has done it is much more difficult to treat, and can prove fatal.

Symptoms of Prostate Cancer :-

(1) Weak or interrupted flow of urine

(2) Frequent urination, especially at night

(3) Difficulty in starting to urinate

(4) Inability to urinate

(5) Pain or burning sensation during urination

(6) Blood in the urine

(7) Continuous pain in the lower back, hips, or thighs

(8) Painful ejaculation

Risk Factors of Prostate Cancer :-

(1) Smoking:- Smoking puts all people at a greater risk for developing all kinds of cancer.

(2) Age:- Men over the age of 50 are more likely to develop the disease than younger men.

(3) Family History:- If there is a history of prostate cancer in the family, the risk increases.

(4) Diet:- A diet high in animal fat is thought to increase the risk of developing prostate cancer.

(5) insufficient amounts of vitamin D in the diet ; a sedentary lifestyle.

(6) Genetic :-

Prostate problems also tend to run in some families which could suggest part of the cause of some prostate cancers is genetic or hereditary. If your father or brother has prostate cancer your chance of developing it is about double that of the general population. However only a small number of all prostate cancers are caused by a known faulty gene and most occur at random.
