After my last post on how to complete the total leg training exercise called split lunges I wanted to write you out a quick “superset” on how you can add this into your workout. A great way to add split lunges in is by first completing an upper body exercise like a ” standing 1 arm chest press ” and then immediately going into the lower body movement, split lunges. Here’s how it would look: Exercise 1A: Standing 1 arm chest presses x 10-12 repetitions on each side Exercise 1B: Dumbbell split lunges x 10-12 repetitions on each side Ideally, you would move through both exercises back to back without resting and then break for 60 – 120 seconds before completing another set
