Like I mentioned in my post about compulsive eating, I think I’ve never talked about these things because I wasn’t sure anyone would understand. Although I’m moved on from binge eating and can’t even remember my last binge, I still feel the need to share these reasons for my obesity. How does it do anyone any good to know how I’m losing weight if they don’t know what caused it? How does it do me any good? So I’m continuing my post series about reasons why I became obese and today I’m tackling my past with binge eating. I think this is appropriate timing because over the last few weeks I’ve had the urge to binge. Seemingly out of nowhere it hit me – the desire to eat and eat until I feel sick and can’t focus on anything else. It’s happened a few times and although I haven’t actually done it, I’ve been shocked by the powerful pull I feel towards binging.

In this age of political correctness and the outcry for the humane treatment of animals, some are really thinking outside the box.

Hi My mom has been restricting for a while and she spends a lot of time in the bathroom after dinner. she has been acting strangely: always wanting the family to leave the house so she can “clean” but when we get home sometimes we find her holding food and has food all over her face and then when i go to make my lunch i notice all of the cookies and other treats are mysteriously gone. i dont really know what is going on.

Every March the nutrition chatter is kicked up a notch. It’s largely due to National Nutrition Month® (either that or spring is upon us and we’re thinking of shedding some clothes and pounds). National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign created annually in March by the American Dietetic Association

I've done an OK job of taking pictures of my meals the last couple of days, although you will see that I'll start good in the morning and then not so good by the evening. I also tended to not get some captures of some of the snacking I did, even though for the post part it was pretty healthy.

I’m 21 years old and I know weigh 210 pounds and am 5′6. Pretty much my whole life I thought I was fat. My mom had an eating disorder for many years and she’s obsessed with working out and eating the bare minimum now.
