After last week’s sugar addiction I’ve decided to get off the stuff. What was I thinking?!?!? Seriously, I never knew how much sugar and eating all the sweet stuff I loved could affect me.

Yesterday was a fabulous day.  It ended in a perfect way – at Point View, overlooking the night lights of the city.  I LOVE cities at night and found the spot to be the perfect nature spot with a beautiful view. Today was a lot more relaxed.  Basically we didn’t do much at all.  Went shopping for things to make guacamole and pizza tomorrow and watched some movies and such.  Nice chill kind of day.  Makes me think of what it would be like if *gasp* I were to live here.  (Not exactly because I’d be working during the day, but still, partly-sorta-close if I imagine the non-working hours of my days.) FOOD!!  YES, I’M A COOKIE CANDY SUGAR MONSTER. Yesterday I actually walked two miles for a more or less proper workout.  It makes me feel better to think about this when I remember that today I ate half a huge cookie and a candy bar.  It’s funny that at home I NEVER buy candy bars and never have a desire to.  It’s just not something I eat.  But here they have different ones so of course I want to try all the things I’ve never had before – candy bars included.  Tonight’s experience was a Crunchie and I also had some of Kepa’s Picnic.  Two candy bars down, a few to go.  Don’t ask me why I feel the need to know what these all taste like, but I do.  (Or if you ask me I’ll tell you it is because I have a sweet tooth and am a cookie candy sugar monster, om nom nom.) YOU GET ME.  YOU REALLY GET ME

For a recovering fast food junkie, learning how to eat healthy at restaurants can be difficult.  It’s been a few years since I broke my addiction to fast food and now I feel like I should share things I’ve learned.  Specifically, how NOT to eat at McDonald’s. There are some rules that you should follow when attempting to eat at McDonald’s. Don’t be the fat kid

Here are the pictures for the Missouri 60 challenge, first on the left, finish on the right: ( Click here for the Missouri 60 Beginning post ) Hard to compare, right?  Well that’s because I don’t actually want you to compare.  In the last 60 days I’ve only lost 5 pounds.  Not exactly a stunning achievement in weight loss and hardly noticeable in any pictures.  I basically look the same after 60 days. Instead of focusing on the physical, like the challenge intended, I instead want to point out how drastically my life has changed in other ways  in the last two months, partly thanks to the Missouri 60 challenge.
